Atom (RSS equiv) Site Feed

If using Blogger to feed a site, enabling the Atom site feed allows views to easily watch for updates. Here's what has to be done.

Log in to www.blogger.com and go to your blog.

Go to the Site Feed tab

The Compumont domain is shown here as an example. Be sure to use the name of the domain you're supporting.

• Publish Site Feed: Yes
• Descriptions: Short
• Site Feed Server Path: mainwebsite_html
• Site Feed Name: compumont.xml
• Site Feed URL: http://www.compumont.com/compumont.xml

[SAVE SETTINGS]

Then edit your Template and add:

<a href="http://www.blogger.com/app/" title="Atom feed">Site Feed</a>

so viewers will know the URL to find the side feed.

Republish your Blog for the changes to be realized at the web site.
